Mayan Mission #1 - November 10 - 14, 2007
Rena, Catherine, Kelly, Sarah, Julie and Pam will be traveling to Panajachel to deliver donated items/funds and research the needs of the San Jorge School and other Mayan Families ongoing projects for future GAFI Mission Trips.
Itinerary
Nov 10 - Arrive in Guatemala City
Nov 11 - In Panajachel with Mayan Families
Nov 12 - Tour San Jorge School and meet sponsored families
Nov 13 - Rena, Sarah, Julie & Pam Leave Guatemala City
Nov 13 - Catherine & Kelly visit Amor del Nino orphanage in San Cristobal
Nov 14 - Catherine & Kelly leave Guatemala City

San Jorge School
GAFI has adopted the San Jorge School as the recipient of our 2007 fundraising efforts. Please click here to read more about the school and the children who go to school here.

The funds raised from the sale of the GAFI cafepress t-shirts were used to purchase bookcases for each of the classrooms in the school. Before, all the books and school supplies were stored on the floor in each classroom.
